The Town of St. Walburg is promoting from within as it confirms Christine Seguin will be its new chief administrative officer effective April 1.
Seguin has been with the town for over six years and is described by officials as a strong community builder and leader.
In making the announcement, Mayor Nancy Schneider said, “We were pleased with the open competition process that attracted a good field of candidates. Our final decision was unanimous, and it came down to Christine demonstrating a solid knowledge of the municipal dynamics, combined with a strong presence in our community, which we really appreciate.”
Seguin, in expressing her excitement for the new challenge, said she is looking forward to working with everyone. She cites her first top priority as building a team and working towards someone to fill her previous role as assistant chief administrative officer. Added to that will be implementing the town’s 2024 budget.
