Muslims in Lloydminster will join in the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday, April 10 at the OTS Room upstairs at the Servus Sports Centre from 10 a.m.
The celebration concludes a month-long fasting and prayer for Ramadhan and will see the faithful greeting each other in traditional ways, wearing festive outfits, exchanging gifts, enjoying special meals, and distributing them by visiting each other’s homes, says the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Lloydminster.
The sermon will be at 10:15 a.m. and the greeting at 10:45 a.m.
