Feed the crew for Construction Week plus 10-day free trial of BuildWorks Canada

Some local restaurants are giving away gift cards for Construction Week and contractors can get a 10-day free trial of BuildWorks Canada from the Lloydminster Construction Association (LCA).

Dorothy Carson, executive director says construction companies can try out their number one service “to find out where the work is.”

“When there is a project that’s out for tender, we gather all the information and it is posted on BuildWorks Canada, and members can look up the information and see what projects they would like to bid on.”

Construction companies need to contact the LCA for more details.

Also, to salute the hardworking people in the construction sector, LCA has teamed up with seven local restaurants to give away gift cards during a week-long promotion on 106.1 The Goat from April 22-26.

“The gift certificates we have received are from Spiro’s, Mr. Bill’s, Domino’s Pizza, Lloydminster Exhibition Grill, Quiznos, The Proper, and Rolling Green Fairways. We have teamed up with The Goat and you will have a daily chance to win a gift certificate from your favourite local restaurant,” says Carson.

The Goat on-air team will serve up the daily code word which listeners will have to text in on the ASTEC Safety Line for a chance to win.

Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
