Have your say on the Air Service Priorities Survey

Lloydminster residents are being asked to weigh in as the city conducts an Air Service Priorities Survey to make the case for an airline to service the Lloydminster Airport.

The loss of WestJet is the backdrop as the city seeks to connect Lloydminster to the world via air travel and a commercial carrier.

In-person sessions are planned including:

  • Lunch and Learn: May 14 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Startup Lloydminster (#4B 4010 50 Avenue. RSVP at lloydminster.ca/airservicelunch
  • Open House 1. A Come and Go Event on May 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lloydminster Airport Terminal Building (8301 75 Avenue). RSVP at lloydminster.ca/YLLairport
  • Open House 2. May 15 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Second Cup Lloydminster (Unit 5 1404 50 Avenue)

An online survey may be accessed at yourvoicelloyd.ca/CommAir until May 24.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
