Lloydminster Comprehensive actors are in Red Deer on Thursday at the Provincial Drama Festival but are returning on Friday, May 10 at the Vic Juba Theatre to show off their award-winning one-act play.Â
The young thespians took seven awards in the recent regional drama contest to plant their feet on the provincial stage at Red Deer Polytechnic.Â
The play, Yes Dear, written by grade 12’s Emry Marchand which won Most Outstanding Play, will again be under lights in Red Deer on Thursday with a shot at provincial glory. Results will be announced on Saturday night at the closing banquet for the festival.Â
Meanwhile, tickets for Friday’s performance in Lloydminster are available at the door or on the Vic Juba website. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.Â
