Wainwright Rustlers skating in East Central Alberta next season

The Wainwright Rustlers Hockey Club will be skating in the Alberta East Central Senior Hockey League when its next season gets going later this year.

The Rustlers have played in the SaskAlta Senior Hockey League for 10 seasons and were champions on three occasions.

In making the decision, the team is saluting the SaskAlta organization and all of its member teams. It’s looking forward to the new contests where it will face the likes of current champions, the Sedgwick Sabres, along with competition from the Irma Aces, the Stettler Imperials, and others.

The Wainwright Rustlers Hockey team scored the Alberta senior AA title in 2023.
