Community members will hear what strides the Lloydminster Concerned Citizens for Seniors Care has made when the society hosts its annual general meeting on June 10 at the Legacy Centre.
Apart from conversations with Alberta and Saskatchewan on health and other matters affecting seniors, the case for long-term care spaces on the Saskatchewan side of Lloydminster is one of the files the advocacy group continues to press for. Lloydminster is short 60 beds currently and by 2035, that need will climb to 148 long-term care spaces, according to the Concerned Citizens for Seniors Care.
The AGM starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Legacy Centre, 5101 – 46 Street. The group will also be accepting new members.
