Graduation time at Lakeland College

Some 170 students at Lakeland College’s Lloydminster campus will graduate on Friday, May 31 from 10:30 a.m.

The all-day ceremony will see students receive their certificates in business, energy, foundational learning, university transfer, and health and wellness.

The President’s Medal will be presented to volleyball player Sarah Hogue. She graduates with an associate diploma from university transfer. The Governor General Medal for the student with the highest GPA is Mariel Kate Macaya, graduating with a business administration diploma in general business. The Distinguished Citizen recipient is a community member who has made significant contributions at a provincial, national or international level. This year’s recipient is Leona Carter.

The ceremony will be broadcast online.

Similar awards and graduation activities will be held at the Vermilion Campus on June 7 from 10 a.m.
