Lloydminster Lion, Ray Tatro will be conferred the honour of district governor responsible for some 54 Lions Clubs in Saskatchewan.
Ray and his wife Shelley will travel to Melbourne, Australia on June 12 for the International Lions Club Convention where he will receive the appointment which takes effect from July 1 and runs for a year.
Tatro has been part of the service organization since 1982 and will be tasked with visiting all of the service clubs in the 5-SKN region during his year as district governor. The district stretches east of Lloydminster to the Manitoba border and includes northern Saskatchewan areas.
