As National Indigenous History Month activities roll out, the Lloydminster calendar will see the third Inter-school Powwow being hosted at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, June 5.
Heart of Treaty 6 says the day will start with a pipe ceremony at 8 a.m., and the full program and opening will follow from 10 a.m.
Local and regional schools will be in attendance. The day wraps up with the dance out at 2 p.m.
National Indigenous Peoples Day will be observed on June 21.
