The roar of engines and the sound of car stereos will emanate from the parking lot at the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School (LCHS) as auto mechanic students rev up this year’s projects.
The LCHS Annual Car and Truck Show is on Wednesday, June 5. The vehicles will face the judges at about 10:30 a.m., the students get to take in all the cars from 12:30., and prize winners will be announced at 12:50 p.m.
The yearly car show dates back to the 1990s and apart from the bragging rights, there is the prospect of students being apprenticed to local auto shops.
Organizers are thanking some community partners for their support including Just Kruzin’, Raven Motorsports, Paradise Garage, Sound Obsessions, Sub Zero Audio, Display cars, Toyota, Denham Chrysler, Lloydminster Honda, Ulmer Chev, and Westridge GMC.
