The LPSD Colour Fun Run will see some 1500 participants challenge the 5km trails at Bud Miller Park from 6 p.m., Friday, June 7.
Organizers say the run will go from the Picnic Shelter and involve kids, staff, parents, and some 80 volunteers.
They are thankful for all the community support including the help along the course and the sponsors who have pitched in with prizes.
Event planner, Chad Smith says, it’s a celebration of fitness, community, and all the good things that are happening in schools.
The runners should be back about 7:15 p.m. for the prize distribution and a barbecue.
The event should wrap up at about 8 p.m.
