Noting the hot dry conditions, there is a Fire Advisory out for the County of Vermilion River, which means officials advise the public to note the increased fire risk due to the dry conditions and carefully monitor any recreational fires. Fire permits are still being issued and backyard fires are still allowed.
In Edgerton, that town still has a fire restriction in place with no new fire permits being issued.
Meanwhile, there are no advisories out for the City of Lloydminster as of this time.
