Nine community members will be tasked with Lloydminster social policy leadership over the next two years.
Council has appointed Teri-Lynn Mackie, Lana Lane, Lorelee Marin – city councillor, Bonita Brick, Becky Schille, Gina Nelson, Stephanie Miller, David McLennan, and Sherri Husch-Foote to the Social Policy Framework Leadership Team for a term expiring July 1, 2026.
Monday’s decision will see the team working as a central hub to connect working groups that deal with community priorities identified through community needs assessments, providing direction, and noting the results.
The social framework provides a way for local supports, business, and government to work together to tackle community issues.
