Over 160 farms will be making tours available to the public for Alberta Open Farm Days, Aug. 17-18 and Chatsworth Farm, near Vermilion, is onboard for Aug. 17.
In its fifth year of involvement in sharing the food story, they have posted an impressive program with free tours and demos from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. including:

Several vendors will be on hand to add to the ag flair, along with kids’ activities and non-profit ag groups.
For participants travelling from Edmonton, there is a bus bound for Vermilion.
Meanwhile, 350 Farms near Cold Lake will be open for tours on Sunday and Backroad Farmhouse near St. Paul is open on Saturday.
