New executive for Lakeland College

Lakeland College has added to their executives. Gillian Henderson has been appointed the Vice-President of corporate services at the college, a position she has filled on an interim basis since July. Henderson will oversee finance, facilities, IT, and human resources. Before moving to Alberta, Henderson worked for five years as director of human resources at a hospital in  B.C., and has almost 30 years of experience in human resources in the public sector. In a statement, Henderson said she was excited, and that the position gives her an opportunity to bring her leadership skills to a bigger audience.
