Reward Increased for Suspicious Macklin Fires Info

An update on the Suspicious Macklin FiresĀ from the Macklin & District Fire/Rescue Facebook page

The Macklin & District Fire Protection Board has decided to increase the reward to $15,000 for information leading to arrests in relation to the frequent similar bale fires over the past couple of weeks.

A reminder that tending to these calls uses precious time and resources which could potentially lead to response issues if there were to be a life-threatening situation in another location in their coverage area.

Macklin Fire & Rescue is also requesting that any individuals in the Macklin coverage area who have their hay in ditches haul them back to their property.

If you have any information please contact the RCMP or Fire Chief Bast at 1-306-753-9141.
