Candidates list final for Saskatchewan elections

The list of candidates is now final on the Elections Saskatchewan website for the Oct. 28 provincial vote.

In Lloydminster, the Chamber of Commerce will hold an All Candidates Forum at the Lloyd Ex on Oct. 16 from 6:30 p.m. This forum will be livestreamed and recorded.

In Cut Knife-Turtleford, a similar candidates forum is also being planned. More details will be forthcoming.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the two main parties, Scott Moe – Sask Party, and Carla Beck – Sask NDP will meet for a televised debate, also on Oct. 16 from 6:05 p.m. The debate will be moderated by Merelda Fiddler, assistant professor of Indigenous Communication at First Nations University of Canada.
