Synergy Credit Union says Trevor Beaton will be its new chief executive officer, from Jan. 1, 2025, as Glenn Stang retires on Dec. 31.
Beaton brings over 26 years of experience with a proven record of leadership, notes the credit union.
“On behalf of the board, we are thrilled to welcome Trevor as Synergy’s new leader,” says Neil Carruthers, chair of Synergy’s board of directors. “As we navigate this pivotal time and explore the province-wide Together for a Thriving Saskatchewan partnership with Conexus and Cornerstone Credit Unions, Trevor’s strategic vision and dedication to community engagement will be instrumental in creating meaningful opportunities for our members, employees, and communities.”

executive leadership. Recently, he served as Synergy’s chief Innovation and people officer.
“I am deeply honoured to lead Synergy Credit Union at this transformational moment. Building on Synergy’s solid foundation, I look forward to collaborating with our talented team to enhance member value, embrace innovation, and strengthen our communities. Together, we will continue shaping a prosperous future for our members,” says Beaton.
