It’s all done and dusted for another season as 18 teams endured the Dodgeball challenge in support of the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation’s (LRHF) greatest needs fundraiser bringing in $238,600.
The 6th annual Gift To Health Livestream – Dodge For A Cause Dodgeball Tournament presented by Cenovus was held at the Hoop Factory on Tuesday, Dec. 3 with local companies, first responders, and supporters facing off on the court in the spirited tradition to avoid being smashed with the ball.
Team Maz Entertainment was crowned the overall champion with bragging rights and other accolades.
The LRHF’s greatest needs fund includes Panda warmers and fetal heart monitors for the Maternity Department and air mattress beds for the Lloydminster Hospital.
Organizers are expressing their deep gratitude for all the community support.
