Lloydminster teen charged with hit-and-run in Bud Miller Park

A Lloydminster teen faces charges after a hit-and-run at Bud Miller Park. On Tuesday, the RCMP got a complaint of a red car drifting in Bud Miller’s parking lot, hitting a post, then leaving the scene. The police found the car a short time later, and charged a 16-year-old girl with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and stunting. Lloydminster RCMP Constable Grant Kirzinger says that remaining at the scene of an accident will prevent drivers from facing any additional charges, and that all accidents causing more than $2,000 in damage are legally required to be reported to the police.
