The city of Lloydminster has announced a road closure. 49 avenue will be closed from 51 street to 57 street until 7 PM on Friday. The street will be closed for geotechnical and environmental testing, as part of the North-South Corridor project. The project will see 49th and 50th avenue be transformed into one-way streets heading in opposite directions to improve mobility downtown.
