U18 Steelers to celebrate girls’ hockey at Rogers Place

This Sunday, January 26, 2025, the Lloydminster Steelers get to take on the the undefeated Junior Oilers White at Rogers Place in Edmonton!

This game will be a U18 AAA regular-season showdown in the Alberta Female Hockey League.

Not only do the girls get to play in one of the best barns in the NHL, but they also get to be part of “Her-story in the Making: Junior Oilers White 2nd Annual Rogers Place Takeover”.
It’s all about celebrating the girls’ game in Oil Country.

Supporters and fans of girls’ hockey and girls’ teams are invited to come enjoy some elite girls hockey and celebrate the game.

There will be extra fun in the concourse including friendship bracelet making and trading, a poster creation station to show off team spirit as well as contests. Prizes include tickets to see the PWHL Showcase at Rogers Place in February.

Two of Canada’s top-ranked U18 AAA teams will battle it out on the same ice as NHL stars — and, soon, the world’s best in the PWHL.

Tickets are  $5 for players and fans under 18, $15 for adults.

The team is gearing up to host the ESSO Cup in April with games being played at the CivicCentre. Early bird tickets are available at Ticketmaster until the end of the month.
