Cold Lake RCMP seek armed robbery suspect

A thief is on the loose following an armed robbery in Cold Lake.
 
On June 6th at approximately 6 p.m., a lone male armed with a knife and a bat entered the Cold Lake 7 Eleven and demanded money from the cashier.
 
According to Cold Lake RCMP, the suspect made away with a small amount of cash and a handful of lottery tickets.

The suspect has been described by witnesses as having very tanned skin, 6’0″ to 6’2″ tall, 180 lbs, wearing blue jeans with a brown belt, and a blue or grey hooded-sweater, worn backwards, with the front cut out.

The suspect fled the scene in a newer model dark blue Grand Caravan.
