More dollars are coming for the Cenovus Energy Hub.
Edmonton Kenworth is putting in $40,000 for 10 years for naming rights of a dressing room at the recreation and entertainment facility that’s being built on Lloydminster’s east side, and due to open this fall.
“We know that community centres are the heart of every community. This is why we chose, and are proud, to be a dressing room sponsor for Cenovus Energy Hub,” said Mike Alcock, Kenworth Lloydminster Branch Manager.
The hockey arena and events centre features amenities that will include:
- Seating for 2,500, expandable up to 4,500 for concerts and events
- A second, NHL-sized indoor ice surface with a 500 capacity.
- A third outdoor ice surface to be used for basketball in summer
“Kenworth’s generous sponsorship is a model example of community stewardship. Their support not only helps bring our vision for Cenovus Energy Hub closer to reality, but it also aligns with our city’s commitment to providing modern, high-quality facilities for our residents and visitors alike,” said Mayor Gerald Aalbers.
