Lloydminster Learning Council turning 50

Celebrations are underway as the Lloydminster Learning Council is marking half a century this year.

The Learning Council is hosting a weekly Facebook trivia contest and chances to win $50 gift cards, donated by Glenn and Doreen McCaw.

“Our Family Literacy Programs were redone to keep up with feedback we received from parents, and we’re currently looking at how to adjust the rest of our programs to keep up with the ever-changing needs in Lloydminster and area,” says Kimberly Englot, Program Director.

Looking ahead, an English Language Learner reunion is being planned for April and the grand opening of the Learning Centre’s new office is happening in May.

“More details on how we will celebrate will be revealed in the future,” said Englot.
