RCMP seek suspect, arrest four in robbery investigation

Lloydminster RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for Hayley Meili, a 23-year-old resident of Lloydminster as they continue to investigate a robbery.

On Feb. 26 at about 12:40am, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at a home in Lloydminster.

Officers tried to stop a vehicle that they deemed to be involved but the driver failed to stop for police.

When officers finally stopped the vehicle, four people attempted to flee. Three were immediately taken into custody, and the fourth attempted to hide from police by climbing a tree.

RCMP Police Dog Services, the RCMP helicopter and investigators tracked the individual and took them into custody without further incident.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers found 26 grams of Methamphetamine, 26 grams of Fentanyl and 7 grams of Cocaine.

The quartet arrested are:

  • Jesse Dillon, a 33-year-old resident of Yorkton
  • Payton Armstrong, a 29-year-old resident of Thunderchild First Nation
  • Dakota Frenchmen, a 24-year-old resident of Thunderchild First Nation
  • Dustin Harper, a 28-year-old resident of Onion Lake

They have been charged with:

  • Flight from Police
  • Operation of a Conveyance while Prohibited
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Failure to Comply with Probation

Jesse Dillon, Payton Armstrong, and Dustin Harper remain in custody and are due in Lloydminster Court on March 25. Dakota Frenchmen was released by a justice of the peace and was in court on March 11.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be laid.
