Lloydminster RCMP seek information after armed robbery

The police are asking for public assistance in locating potential witnesses of an armed robbery in the Border City.

According to a release issued by the local detachment, the 7-11 convenience store on 44 Street was robbed in the early hours of June 17, after a dirty dark blue Dodge 1500 truck backed into the store around 3:20 a.m. A male suspect exited the vehicle, entered the store and demanded money from the clerk while pointing a firearm.

The suspect then fled in the truck. He is described as 6’0″ tall, approximately 180 pounds, with black hair. He was wearing a purple ball cap, purple bandana over his face, a white and black long sleeve sweater, green and black gloves, skinny blue jeans, and black with white Adidas shoes.

The Lloydminster RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation, and are looking to speak with two individuals who arrived at the 7-11 in a newer white Chevrolet Equinox around 3:25 AM who may have witnessed this event or have information that could assist this investigation.
