Lloydminster RCMP have laid new charges on a previously convicted felon.

Following a search warrant executed June 18, 2016 by the Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section, 38-year-old, Tran Quach has been newly charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking and Possession of property obtained by crime.

RCMP executed their search in the 2600 block of 51 Avenue and located fifty Fentanyl pills, along with $1300.00 cash.

“Not every drug bust will be large in scale”, says Constable Grant Kirzinger. “This shows that we are always working to keep Lloydminster safe and show all drug dealers that police will not stop our ongoing efforts to get drugs off our streets.”

Quach of Lloydminster, was on a Conditional Sentence Order stemming from numerous previous convictions of theft and forging prescriptions. She has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Alberta Provincial Court on July 5, 2016.
