World Wars exhibit set to honour local veterans

The Lloydminster Cultural and Science Centre will host a new exhibit starting October 9th. The exhibit is called World Wars, and will be locally curated. The exhibit will feature photos, artwork, memorabilia and rare local items in remembrance of the city of Lloydminster’s participation in the First and Second World Wars. It was created for the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War, and the 75th anniversary of the Second World War. The opening reception for the exhibit will take place from 7 to 9 PM October 9th at the Lloydminster Cultural and Science Centre. Tickets cost $20.
