The Colonial Days parade has wound its way through the downtown core of the city, and Lloydminster residents came out in force to watch the procession. Hundreds of people were lining the streets as the parade passed through the streets, with members of the Lloydminster RCMP and the local branch of the Canadian Legion in the front.
The fair will now begin in full force at the Exhibition Grounds, after its sneak peek last night. Judges from 106.1 the Goat were casting a critical eye on the parade floats. The winner of first place for the Commercial Category was Servus Credit Union, who also took the Grand Prize. Both awards were for their float.
