The 4th Annual Interschool Powwow went off at the Centennial Civic Centre with over 100 dancers registered.
Co-chair of Heart of Treaty 6, Cynthia Young says three drum groups were also signed up as participants “danced their hearts out.”
“If it wasn’t for them we would not be dancing our hearts out,” says Young.
The event started after 10:00 a.m. and wrapped up about 2:00 p.m.
