Day 2 of Colonial Days another success

Day two of Colonial Days has come and gone.

The day finished with a musical performance by American rockers, Pop Evil, at a jam-packed grandstand. According to the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association, who hosts the fair each year, yesterday’s agricultural shows were also well-attended; the featured shows were in Junior Beef, Light Horse, and Draft Horse.

The Brown’s Industrial Sales Monsters & Mayhem monster truck show also packed the grandstand for the second straight night.

While the 50/50 went for $1440, the Pot of Gold draw was not claimed, so tonight’s draw will be made for $5000, after the Swon Brothers perform at the grandstand.

Today’s attractions also include tribute acts to Gretchen Wilson, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynne, as well as Draft Horse and Light Horse Shows once again, and the Sheep Show.
