NDP Leader Cam Broten says the Saskatchewan government is out of touch with what the people of Lloydminster want. Broten and the NDP caucus were in Lloydminster on Wednesday and Thursday to prepare for the fall meeting of the legislative assembly. With Lloydminster’s seat in the legislature currently unoccupied and a by-election coming soon, Broten said he and his party are confident that they know what the people of Lloydminster are looking for in a representative.
It has been 15 years since Lloydminster was represented by a member of the NDP. No date for the by-election has been set yet.
