As of Friday, June 29, at 5:00 p.m., there were 30 active fires still burning in the province.
Fire crews have tackled 278 wildfires this year (as at 5:00 p.m. on June 27), surpassing the 186 seen for the same time frame last year.
The five-year average in Saskatchewan is 171.
