Supporting Tim’s Camp Day on July 16

The big fundraiser for the year for the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps is on Wednesday, July 16.

All of the sales from hot brewed coffee and iced coffee will help to support the upkeep and program creation at their camps.

The proceeds help local kids who get to go to camp.

Tim’s is also testing an in-classroom program in parts of the country and hoping to roll it out across the country next year, with the aim of helping more kids.

You can donate by rounding up the total of your order.

There is also a Camp Day donut, with all proceeds being donated to the camping cause.

Tim’s will also have their bracelets on sale giving you another way to support campers.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
