Police seek suspects in local robbery

Lloydminster RCMP are investigating an armed robbery of a local establishment.

On the night of Wednesday July 27, shortly after 10:00 pm, police were called to the scene in the 5200 block of 44 Street.

Two men reportedly entered the store and demanded cash. At least one of the suspects was carrying a weapon. The suspects fled the store before police arrived. With the assistance of Police Dog Services, officers tracked the suspects, but were not able to locate them.

The first suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’8″, with slender build, seen wearing a black sweater and black pants.

The second suspect, also male, is described as being approximately 5’10”, having a slender builder as well, and wearing a black sweater and black pants.

Both men were wearing a grey/green masks.
