Police seek gas thieves

The Lloydminster RCMP are seeking assistance from the public in finding the perpetrators in a $53,000 gas theft.

According to a release issued by the detachment, an investigation into the theft began on June 27, after a number of fuel cards were taken from a business in the 6200 block of 44 Street in the Border City. Around 39,000 liters of fuel were taken during the theft, estimated to be worth around $53,000. Card locks in both Lloydminster and Elk Point were targeted by the thieves.
