Lloydminster RCMP are trying to find the suspect in an armed robbery. On the evening of October 2, a man was walking near the intersection of 23 street and 56 avenue when another man pointed a gun at him and demanded he empty his pockets. The man then fled north on 56 avenue on foot. The RCMP used dog services but were unable to find him. He is described as being 6’1″ tall and weighing around 175 pounds. He’s in his early 20s and has a deep voice. He was wearing jeans with a black hooded jacket, with the hood pulled up to cover his face. The RCMP believe it was an isolated incident. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Lloydminster RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
