Battleford RCMP seeking suspects in robbery

Police in Battleford are seeking the assistance of the public in tracking down three men who are believed to have robbed a business in the Town of Battleford.

According to a police press release, three males entered a business in Battleford on Friday, August 12, located in the 100 block of 22 Street. One of the males was armed with a firearm, and demanded cash from an employee of the business. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the three fled the scene in a red Chevrolet pickup truck. At the time, the vehicle was very dirty and could appear beige.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

The suspects were described as three adult First Nations males, who appeared to be in their 20’s. One of the three was wearing a dark hoodie, and another was wearing a white hoodie, with at least one suspect reported to have a tattoo on his neck. The tattoo appeared to be a Chinese symbol, or writing.

As of this report, police have identified one of the men as 26-year old Dakota Ermine, a resident of Prince Albert. Ermine is now wanted on charges of robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm, and failing to comply with a probation order.
