Community Futures Lloydminster and Region have been presented with the excellence and innovation award. The CFLR is a non-profit organization that helps businesses with small-business loans, and the award recognizes them for their involvement in the region’s rural economy. In particular, the CFLR was recognized for their involvement in the Regional Business Accelerator, an organization that they helped found, and works in tandem with them to help small businesses. The award is given out annually by the Community Futures Alberta Association.
