The City of Lloydminster has hired a new General Manager for the Lloydminster Airport. Fred Ackerman will fill the position, after joining the team in August. As General Manager, Ackerman will oversee all activities at the airport, and make sure they continue to comply with all municipal, provincial and federal regulations. Before joining the airport, Ackerman was the Business Manager of Carvan Airlines. Ackerman said he was thrilled to be the general manager of Lloydminster’s Airport and that the priorities of the airport remain high safety standards, and delivering enhanced services to the community.
