Three charged with stolen property and drug trafficking

A search warrant executed by the Lloydminster RCMP has revealed numerous drugs and stolen items, resulting in the arrest of 3 locals.

On Wednesday, September 21, 2016, local RCMP members were conducting an investigation into a group of people involved in trafficking stolen property and drugs.

Arrests were made when an individual attempted to sell stolen item. A search warrant was then carried out at a property in the 4200 block of 41 Street, wherein police recovered a wide range of stolen property, including electronics, jewelry, and tools, as well as several different types of drugs: Mushrooms, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.

21-year-old, Dana Larson, from Lloydminster has been charged with: 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance; 4 counts of possession of property obtained by crime; trafficking in stolen property; possession for the purpose of trafficking; and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

26-year-old, Lee Daigle, from Lloydminster, has been charged with: 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance; 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime; and 2 additional counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

As well, 41-year-old, Jason Callan, also of Lloydminster, has been charged with: 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime; trafficking in stolen property; possession for the purpose of trafficking; and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Larson and Diagle have been released on conditions, while Callan remains in custody. All three are scheduled to appear in Saskatchewan Provincial Court on Monday, October 17, 2016.
