Search ongoing for missing Saddle Lake woman

UPDATE: A search for Cardinal by Search and Rescue teams, Police Dog Services (PDS) and RCMP Air Services was completed, but she was not located in the area she was last seen. The St.Paul RCMP have renewed their call for public assistance in the matter, and would like to locate her as soon as possible.


A missing woman will be the subject of a major search today to the northwest of Lloydminster. 22 year old Christine Cardinal of Saddle Lake was reported missing by her family on Sunday, after last being seen north of the Bison Auto gas station in Saddle Lake on October 13, 2016, wearing a grey sweater, with black shorts and no shoes.

She is described as an Aboriginal female, standing five feet and nine inches tall, with long black hair, brown eyes, a scar on her right bicep, a cut on her top lip, and a tattoo of “ns” on her left hand.

A search for Christine Cardinal by RCMP resources is set to be conducted today.  Search and Rescue, RCMP resources and RCMP Air Services will be assisting, during day light hours.  If you have any information as to her whereabouts, please contact St. Paul RCMP at 780-645-8888.
