Bobcats announce RBC Legacy Cup Scholarship

The Lloydminster Bobcats have announced a brand new scholarship intended to help Bobcats alumni who pursue post- secondary education.

The scholarship fund worth approximately 60 thousand dollars has been created with a portion of the proceeds from the 2016 RBC cup. The team will hand out five scholarships annually to ex-players looking for further education. The inaugural deadline is on December 15, 2016, and the following is required for all applicants:

  • Must have been carded by the Lloydminster Jr A Bobcats and/ or played within the LMHA
  • Must be registered or applying to a post-secondary institution
  • Must complete application in full
  • Must include a current academic post-secondary and high school transcript with their application
  • No applicant can win the scholarship more than one time

A selection committee, including Scott Lumbard, Education Director of the Bobcats, a member of the Lloydminster RBC branch, and a member of the Bobcats organization will decide who receives the scholarships. To apply visit www.lloydminsterbobcats.ca.
