The unemployment rate for Alberta has risen to a level not seen since 1994.
The percentage of people currently out of work in the province has risen 30 per cent since 2015, and is currently sitting at nine per cent across Alberta.
Employment fell by 13,000 last month, and 11,000 more people starting looking for jobs, pushing the rate up half a per cent to nine per cent.
