Three vehicle accident in Bonnyville

A  three vehicle collision in Bonnyville on Monday. A vehicle driven by a 59 year old man, was traveling west bound on highway 28 when a second vehicle driven by a 23yr old man with a 17yr old male passenger attempted to turm eastbound onto the highway. The two vehicles collided and a third eastbound vehicle also struck the wreckage. The 60yr old driver of that vehicle and the westbound truck were not seriously injured. However, both occupants of the car were injured and transported to Edmonton via the Bonnyville Hospital. The 17yr old youth had serious injuries and was flown by STARS air ambulance, and last reported to be in stable condition. No indication of alcohol or other impairment playing a role in the collision.
