Firefighters Raise $20,000 For ALS Research

Lloydminster Firefighters are celebrating after their ALS Rooftop Campout fundraiser. The firefighters managed to raise over $20,000 in their weekend-long campout, topping last year’s total of just over $17,000. Lloydminster Fire Chief Todd Gustavson thanked the public for their donations, and the firefighters for staying out in plunging temperatures. This is the second year that the firefighters have held the fundraiser, in memory of one of their members, who passed away from the disease.
