Kitscoty Canucks Lace Up For A Good Cause

The Kitscoty Canucks are looking for local teams to sign up for their 7th annual charity hockey tournament. The tournament is organized to raise money for families in need and will consist of 6 teams, a steak dinner, and a silent auction. Organizer Darris Gartner says that one of the items in this year’s auction is a customized goalie helmet, signed by Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard. This year’s beneficiary is Alicia Manuel, a single mother with breast cancer. To register or to donate, contact Gartner at 780-870-0513. The tournament will take place March 20th.
