Horne heads to China to discuss key health issues

Alberta Health Minister Fred Horne is heading to China this month. Horne will join Federal Health Minister Rona Ambrose and the delegation representing Canada to discuss key health issues of mutual interest to Canada and China. Minister Horne will participate in the Canada-China Policy Dialogue in Beijing from April 13th to 18th. The Canadian delegation will meet with China’s health minister, officials and experts to develop an understanding of each country’s major health initiatives and systems, and strengthen bilateral relations with key health institutions. Minister Horne will also make presentations on health systems and lead a round table on hospital management by representing Alberta’s perspective on health care policies and programs.
